Christopher Pierno
Chris is originally from Palo Alto, California. He obtained his BA in Chemistry from Occidental College in 2023 where he worked for Prof. Emmanuelle Despagnet-Ayoub on synthesizing novel electroactive compounds for redox flow batteries, developing alkene oligomerization catalysts, and studying the decomposition of compounds used for future Mars rover missions. He is now excited for the future and pursuing a PhD in inorganic chemistry at UCLA. In his free time, Chris likes to do recreational drone photography, brew beer, and explore Los Angeles.
